6 HOURS OF TOWER....MADNESS I SAY...

(Here's how it went down. Really bigtime downhill trail called Tower in town. A friend named Daniel Brisbon decided to do an Enduro-style race format for this downhill track. 6 hours of Tower. All pedal assist only.....which meant riding back to the start and hiking your bike straight up 1100' every lap. Winning man Leland O'Connor landed 7 laps. That is mental.)

(Here's winner, 7 lapper: Leland Oconnor. Studly...oh yeah....and on a borrowed bike.)

(Friend and coworker and race organizer Daniel Brisbon.)

(Friend and riding partner: Mr. Niels Grether. All time, all around champion/stud.)

(Leland....pinned.)

(Two photos from a photo shoot I did for Lezyne's new line of LED lights. Pretty fun messing around with a really nice Canon 5D MkII and a 15mm fisheye.)

(The below photos are all shot in Shea Somma's garage/shaping studio (http://sommaspecialdesigns.blogspot.com/) of the board that I shaped. It's called "Little Marvin Dingus" and it's 5'5" x 19.25" x 2.25". It's gonna be a rocket. Hope you like it.....and give Shea's blog a browse. He's a real champ for being such a loving and sharing soul and he also really shreds the foam and the water.)

(Tail inspired by Daniel Thompson (tomosurfboards.com) of Australia. Real down under shredder.)

(A couple photos shot in Morro Bay while messing around and waiting for surf that wasn't there.)
