The Goodies....

The goods are really starting to pile up.......certainly along with the bill. Just got a Lumix DMC-LX3. It is a crazy nice digital point and shoot. Lots of options for it and I'm really psyched up about it. John Bates (who is custom fabricating my tent and quilt for me) is running slow and behind which is a bummer and I'm really anxios to get the gear. I truly never thought that money could ever spend this fast. Now I know why Tyrell Owens complained that $8 million a year wasn't enough to support a family.

Day -61

Got the blog together today in preparation for the hike trip and the bike trip. Mostly for the bike trip. That's all to be said for now. 61 days until I meet John Muir's spirit and carry around my own toilet paper on the trail...upon which I will later be starting my bike tour.
