(Two photos from a photo shoot I did for Lezyne's new line of LED lights. Pretty fun messing around with a really nice Canon 5D MkII and a 15mm fisheye.)

(The below photos are all shot in Shea Somma's garage/shaping studio (http://sommaspecialdesigns.blogspot.com/) of the board that I shaped. It's called "Little Marvin Dingus" and it's 5'5" x 19.25" x 2.25". It's gonna be a rocket. Hope you like it.....and give Shea's blog a browse. He's a real champ for being such a loving and sharing soul and he also really shreds the foam and the water.)

(Tail inspired by Daniel Thompson (tomosurfboards.com) of Australia. Real down under shredder.)

(A couple photos shot in Morro Bay while messing around and waiting for surf that wasn't there.)

Calfee...

Hoping to pick up my uncle's Calfee Luna.....like this baby, minus the uber sexy ENVY composite wheels.

And then there's Calfee's flagship bike. The Dragonfly, selling at $4200 for a frame only. Yowza.

Big Sur with Megan....

(First day. Walk in Partington Cove/Tan Bark Trail.)

(Remains of crazy large redwoods and the Basin Fire.)

(OOOOOH la la.)

(Sunset with Borracha blend half-bottle and the beach.)

(Driving south at sunset to Nacimiento Road....we camped on the ridge that night.)

(Next day at secluded beach...hanging out before heading to Tree Bones.)

(Tree Bones yurt.)

(Day 3. McWay Falls. 60 ft. and straight onto the beach. Pretty mint.)

(3rd night we stayed up at the north end of Big Sur at Andrew Molera. Here is before sunset.)

Catalina Classic...

Immediately after the JMT, I spent the night at Tim's house in Santa Barbara and ended up leavin the next morning for Ventura/L.A. area. I got in 2 bodysurfs and ended up spending the night at a friends house/futon as close to the ocean as it gets....on the rocks in Leo Carillo. Next morning, off to the Catalina Classic finish line. A 32 mile paddleboard race from Catalina to Manhattan Beach. Danny (my older brother) decided about 3 months prior that he was going to do this. It's one of the most prestigious paddleboard races in the world. He qualified to get into the race, got a boat lined up, and went. HE GOT 13th!! Out of a field of 83!! Here area few pictures. It was an emotional race and finish for all of us.

(Out on the right, 5 seconds from the finish.)

(Coming in after the finish and a little rest.)

(There he is!)

(Such a great moment...even Ernie was there!)

(Having a cry....it was amazing.)

(Telling us about it all.)
